Quality Policy
The customer’s point of view is a deciding factor for the quality of our products and services. The satisfaction of our customers is, therefore, our most important quality standard.
Quality management is carried out in compliance with international standards based on the “zero error philosophy”. Within our company we also pursue a process of continuous improvement in respect of quality and costs.
The definition of measurable quality targets, such as internal and external non-conformity costs, adherence to delivery dates, etc. is necessary to enable us to check that targets are met.
It is necessary to bear in mind the quality capability of component suppliers.
Every individual is responsible for the quality of his work. Thus the appropriate level of significance must be attached to quality consciousness, information and the qualification of all employees.
The corporate management of voestalpine Krems GmbH, as a company of the voestalpine Group, admits to the same high demand for productivity, quality, safety, health and environmental protection.
We operate an integrated management system for turning our guidelines into concrete action.
We constantly work on the improvement of all products, processes and systems whilst applying the basic principles of TQM (Total Quality Management). Constant improvement is the duty of every employee at all levels and in all areas. It is the managers’ task to create the conditions required to achieve this objective and to act as role models.
We encourage knowledge and a sense of responsibility of our employees at all levels.
Measurable goals and their periodical checking enable us to check, if targets are reached.
We understand quality to be the extent to which the requirements and expectations of customers, company, employees, suppliers and owners are fulfilled.
We produce and sell both products and services,
- which completely satisfy the qualitative requirements of our customers as defined by the "zero error philosophy",
- which place as little load as possible on man and environment by economic handling of raw materials and energies and by avoiding /reducing the environmental impacts arising from our production processes and activities,
- which are manufactured or performed by employees who are conscious that every injury to employees and impairment of their health is avoidable.
It goes without saying that reduction of environmental impacts by using the best technology available and economically viable is just as important to us as compliance with statutory regulations.
We conduct an open and factual dialogue with customers, contracting parties, authorities, abutting owners and the interested public.
