Tryout and surface finish

Tryout and start-up of pressing dies is one of our core competences. With the use of a modern Tryout Centre with multi-curve-function Polynorm Grau is also able to simulate later production presses. Beyond that, we use further Tryout presses (single- and double acting) and gantry cranes. All presses are integrated in the flexible Tryout Centre at the Gügling site.  The objective of our highly-qualified forming experts is to reduce start-up costs for our customers. Beyond that, we offer the new product “Plug & Play-die” . This means start of production with accompanying die optimisation on Polynorm Grau’s premises. This offers our customers a secured start of production, as well as an increase of productivity of their press lines because of a reduced try-out phase. Advantage for our customers: dies are ready for production when they are delivered to customer plant in a ready-to-go status.
