Automater Switch Stands
The Nortrak "Automater" converts a manually operated RACOR 22 or 36 switch stand into a power operated switch stand with the push of a button. The "Automater" consists of a hydraulic actuator that easily connects to a switch stand in lieu of the hand lever.
The internal hydraulic actuator rotates 180º to automatically throw the switch stand. The actuator is powered by a self contained 12-volt battery, DC motor and hydraulic pump which are all controlled by a PLC. The battery may be charged by either a solar panel unit in remote locations or a maintenance charger unit that operates on line voltage.
