Nortrak supplies new railroad ties to AREMA or specific railroad requirements. The two most common ties sold are:

• No. 1 Ties (7in. x 9 in. x 8 ft.)
• No. 2 Ties (6in. x 8in. x 8ft.)

Ties can also be supplied in longer lengths in 6 inch increments to suit your needs. All ties are incised, trimmed, milled or bored to your requirements and can be treated with:

• 8 lb./cu. ft. creosote
• 7 lb./cu. ft. 50/50 mix creosote/petroleum
• 0.4 lb./cu. ft. C.C.A.

Switch Tie sets are also available and are generally manufactured to the same specifications as track ties. Information regarding Steel or Concrete ties is available upon request.
