Nortrak can supply guard rails in standard AREMA tee rail configurations in addition to the Nortrak designed VANGUARD™ system. The Nortrak VANGUARD™ system is available for use in heavy haul and transit systems. The VANGUARD™ system utilizes a European rail section designed specifically for use in guardrail assemblies. Bolted and bolt-less designs are available - the latter, patented design, allows for easy adjustment to suit variable tie spacing and minimizes maintenance by eliminating bolts. Both systems allow flangeway width adjustments and individual part replacement.
