You know when it's locked

The 36-LH is a 36-EH mainline switch stand that also provides a dry contact indication when it has been locked in the normal or reverse position. It contains an integrated electronic lock cylinder that cannot be picked and can only be opened by sepcified electronic keys. Once the electronic cylinder is unlocked, the switch stand locking bar can be moved out of position and the switch stand can be operated just like a 36-EH.

You know who locked it

The innovative electronic key and lock cylinder require no external power - the cylinder obtains its power directly from the key. The system offers an additional benefit; you can retrieve audit information from both the keys and the locks, with date and time stamped logs showing which key accesed which lock.

SwitchAlert™

The heart of the 36-LH is the SwitchAlert™ module, which detects when the switch stand locking bar is in place, and whether the swtich stand is locked in the normal or reverse position. The module itself requires no power (other than for an optional heater to keep contacts frost free). It is compatible with all signal systems capable of reading contact closures as input.
