The revolutionary design suppresses the internal pressure gradients normally experienced upon initial wheel contact, and allows for serviceable components and adjustable closure rates.
On track, this equates to a service life that is an order of magnitude longer than conventional spring frog retarders. This allows the Spring Wing Controller to keep a spring frog operating reliably for years.
