NYCTA Tangential Interlocking Special-Work Project 


In June 2009,  VAE Nortrak’s Chicago Heights facility produced a #8 115RE Tangential Interlocking Special-Work Project for NYCTA in its entirety. This project was composed of a #8 115RE Equilateral and Tangential Turnout, a #8 Tangential Single Crossover, and a #8 115RE Unguarded and Equilateral Tangential Turnout. This specialized trackwork is destined for the yard of the Bedford Nostrand Station, Cross-town Line in Brooklyn.
