After being awarded with the ÖGUT Environmental Prize last year, voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH was able to establish itself as a finalist at the Austrian Logistics Day 2019 as well – focus of attention was once again the mobile application PROVAST.
The motto of this year's Austrian Logistics Day – an annual industry meeting – at the Design Center Linz in Upper Austria was "Staying sovereign" and took place for the 26th time in history.
The gala evening in the forum of Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberösterreich on 26 June 2019 presented itself once more as the social highlight of the whole event – in the center: the awarding ceremony of the 11th Austrian Logistics Prize. voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH as one of the three finalists was able to convince the jury of Provast's logistical process optimization in the run-up to the event and to prevail over numerous other projects. In the end, we only remained behind the winner "Triumph International" – nevertheless, we were happy and satisfied with the successful second place.
The VNL, an Association around Network Logistics, accompanies companies to supply chain excellence. They specialize in the fields of procurement, supply chain management, intralogistics, transport and digitalization. Among other things, one of the core tasks of the VNL is the organization of industry events that focus on topics relevant to the future. In addition, every year the VNL awards the Austrian Logistics Prize to the most impressive Austrian logistics projects.
