Objective and Scope of Validity

In order to meet the requirements of our customers and to secure long-term company success, the strategic objectives are regularly assessed and further developed in the course of our certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

For this purpose we have installed a planning process that serves to secure and improve customer satisfaction and proper business procedures in the mid and long term.

The objective and the individual planning steps as well as the budget processes shall be addressed more concretely in the annually adapted guidelines provided by those responsible for the individual process steps.

The objective of controlling is to provide the managing board of voestalpine Klöckner Bahntechnik GmbH with current information on the development of the company with the aid of benchmarking materials.

Process

The assessment and evaluation of corporate development are carried out continually while making use of the following reports:

1. Degree of goal attainment
2. Costs and EBIT
3. Investment trends
4. Critical debtors
5. Personnel development

The company objectives are regularly assessed as to their attainment while taking into consideration the market conditions. The controlling instruments published each month are analysed by the managing board and the managers of the regional offices. Individual measures are adapted to the current circumstances and are taken to account for any fluctuations. In this regard, the managing board uses other reports that are prepared on an individual basis.
