Ethics and social responsibility
Acting responsibly is at the very center of voestalpine’s corporate culture. This is why Management Board and Supervisory Board of voestalpine AG decided in 2003 to recognize the Austrian Corporate Governance Codex. Moreover, voestalpine has a Code of Conduct that establishes the basis for ethically and legally proper conduct for all employees.
Effective risk management enables voestalpine to identify risks early on and mitigate or eliminate them. This risk management system has been set forth in a general, Group-wide procedural directive. It is based on a revolving process that is run through at least once a year.
