Cooling bed
First of all the plate is flattened in the hot levelling machine, then a plate number is put on at the hot marking machine followed by transport to the cooling bed.
The cooling bed serves for air cooling of the plates and acts as a buffer for the shearing line.
For thick plates an own specific cooling bed is operating.
By using the plate turner the top and bottom surfaces of every plate are visually inspected.
