Flame cutting

Plates in thicknesses above 50 mm are transported to the flame cutting line.

They are lifted off the thick plate cooling bed and put into stacks.

After the plates are cooled down to room temperature automatic ultrasonic testing is applied.Testing covers 100% of the plate surface.

The results are documented and automatically compared with the specifications. This method provides for precise monitoring of the internal quality of our plates.

Three numerically controlled flame cutting machines are in operation to cut plates to finished dimensions as well as the samples.
