History 1894 - 1944

Three Viennese brothers, Alfred, Guido and Edgar Lenz, acquired the plant in 1894. The plant production was expanded by the Fischer brothers. In 1895 the fabrication of bullet ignition was started. 1898 the manufacturing of fittings (pipe connection parts) was initiated. 1904 the production was migrated to the fabrication of bullets up to 150 mm grenades, 1905 cartridge cases for ammunition up to 190 mm have been manufactured and 1909 a rolling mill with a monthly capacity of 1,000 metric tons, was installed. 1912 the fabrication of rolled steel bars, which were squeeze rammed for bullets, was started.
