Drive-in rack
Drive-in racks are the best storage solution for goods, when block storage is impossible due to their instability.
With only little loss of space an extreme storage density can be achieved. This system is mainly used for homogeneous products. The first pallet put into the canal will be the last to be commissioned.
3 different types are possible:
- Drive-in one-sided
- Drive-in double-sided
- Drive-through rack
Features of this system are:
- last in - first out (LIFO) - except drive through racks
- high space utilisation
- one product per canal
- forklift drives into the commissioning tunnel
