Curbs

Steel curbs are a substitute for granite kerbstones used for bridge edge beams. Their long lifespan is guaranteed thanks to high-quality hot galvanising.

Due to its large factory dimensions of 3.80 m. and 1.90 m., and its low weight (approx. 14.80 kg/rm; in comparison, granite kerbstones weigh approx. 70 kg/rm), the assembly and moving of these items is much easier and less time-consuming than with granite kerbstone variants.

The backfilling of the steel curbs and the concreting of the edge beams are carried out in one single processing step. This produces a frictional connection without gaps.

End pieces and adapters can be fabricated on site by cutting them with an angle grinder.
