Laser-welded blanks with continuous thickness transition

Sealing problems can occur in the case of door concepts, in which there is a jump in thickness in the direction of the vehicle interior.
One solution is continuous thickness transition on the door sealing contact surfaces. This excludes sealing problems in the area of the weld seam, as a homogenous door sealing contact surface is guaranteed.
