At the first voestalpine Onliner Day, 83 online experts from the voestalpine Group met at voestalpine Stahlwelt and discussed current trends and developments.
B2B digital markets are here to stay and their importance is steadily increasing – an ideal time for voestalpine to actively and intensively take a closer look at this topic. 83 online experts from Austria, Germany, Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, the USA, China and Canada accepted the invitation to meet in Linz.
Introductory words from voestalpine CEO Wolfgang Eder, a keynote speaker from Google Germany, elevator pitches from the companies and various workshops made for a comprehensive program. Stefan Hentschel from Google Germany gave a keynote speech on B2B online trends. The elevator pitches picked up on three online highlights of the past three years: online and social media recruiting, online marketing for wind projects, and the “Steelbook” iPhone app developed by Uddeholm. The four workshops covered current online and social media challenges. Participants worked together to develop strategies and solutions for the future. Owing to the positive response, preparations are already underway for the 2014 Onliner Day.
New voestalpine corporate design
The voestalpine Group is marking the consistent implementation of its strategy and its changing self-image by updating its visual identity: its transformation from a European steel company to a global technology and capital goods group is now also being mirrored in its corporate design. The new visual identity combines tradition with future expectations, and increasingly symbolizes dynamism and a focus on the future.
