This year, Böhler-Uddeholm Italia held the event “Bimbi in ufficio con Mamma e Papà” (kids in the office with mom and dad) for the third time.

On Saturday, June 11, 2016 Böhler-Uddeholm Italia opened the doors to its offices and its warehouse for all employees and their families. Children had the opportunity to visit the workplaces of their parents and to spend the afternoon playing with each other. An entire area of the warehouse was dedicated to games and a buffet.

Exciting treasure hunt

The older children took part in a treasure hunt: the setting was a “pirate vessel” drawn on the floor. The children were divided into pirate teams led by a captain. Each team had to create its own dress, flag and anthem and had to pass different ability tests in order to win clues. In the meantime, the youngest children (between 2 and 3 years old) played with toys or enjoyed other forms of entertainment.

This event always provides  a great opportunity for all employees to get to know each other and to reinforce the team spirit in the company. The employees proudly showcased their own work environment, while their kids happyly engaged in the various activities offered: it was a magical day for everyone involved! The event was much appreciated by all participants and the team is already looking forward to organizing an even better version of the event next year.
