Overview of Division Profilform
Division Profilform combines the tube and profile activities of the voestalpine group. Division Profilform specialises in welded tubes and hollow sections, open standard sections, all types of custom-rollforming of special tubes and sections and in storage technology and road crash barriers.
Since the beginning of the 1990s, Division Profilform has consistently applied a “multi-domestic strategy”, i.e. entering new markets through acquisition of production sites within regions and near main customers. This strategy resulted in us becoming the most internationally experienced division with production sites in Europe (Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Great Britain, and France) as well as in Russia and the USA.
The structure of Division Profilform is characerized by mid-sized, independent and flexible units.
The division is Europe's leading manufacturer of special profiles; it accounts for 13% of the group's total sales revenue.
Products
The products of Division Profilform are used in many various industrial branches: the automobile industry including commercial vehicles and busses, the construction industry, civil engineering, construction machinery, transport and storage technology, the furniture industry, road safety and the aerospace industry.
Division Profilform maintains – just like the voestalpine Group as a whole – mainly long-term relationships with most main customers. The focus is on the supply to the construction and automotive supply industry as well as on the transport, storage and furniture industries.
